Jim Hale Award 2019

Jim Hale founded the club in 1976 and worked tirelessly building the club and promoting the sport of gymnastics, Jim continued his association with the club up until he passed away in 2010 from Motor Neurone Disease. From time to time the club raises money for research into this disease.


In honour of Jim and his dedication to gymnastics and the PHGC, the club each year awards the Jim Hale Award to an Advanced Group Gymnast or Coach as chosen by coaching staff. This is based on sportsmanship, effort put into training, respect for others and the sport and conduct at any sanctioned outside events.

Jim Hale Award recipient with be recognised at our Christmas End of Year Show. A photograph will be taken and put in our Facebook Group, Facebook Page, Newsletter, Website and on our Notice Board in the Foyer of the Ingle Farm Recreation Centre.
